| Who Are We? |

| We are a diverse group of Collingwood citizens from virtually
every walk of life. We are long term residents and newcomers,
we are business people, retirees and volunteers, we are former members
of Council and former members of Vision 2020. We have come
together for a single purpose - to share our concerns about the way
our Town is evolving, and to collectively and loudly demand attention
and action from those we elected to represent and lead us. Our
interim organizing committee includes former town councilors, former
Vision 2020 Chairs, business owners and managers, community activists
and volunteers, long time residents and relative newcomers. We have
a board of directors and are an incorporated not-for-profit organization.
We currently meet every two weeks and our major activities include organizational
development of V.O.T.E. Collingwood, observing and reporting on council meetings,
researching issues of interest or concern and disseminating information to the public. |
